About

Sewing has been a part of my life since I was a young girl making my own clothes. Then as a mother, making and mending clothes for our children. During the covid lockdown, I made 97 masks for family and friends. When grandchildren arrived, I started making one-of-a-kind baby quilts. Beyond sewing, weaving and quilting, another passion is creating mosaics of all kinds.

As happens sometimes in life, all the years of sewing, quilting and mosaics converged when I created quilted Christmas cards. Once our son saw them, he had the idea to make a line of vegetable cards to sell in the Santa Cruz, CA store for The Homeless Garden Project. And my passion project was born and has continued to grow.

My line of cards is named “Say It Sew” – To send a card that makes a lasting impression

I combine my love of mosaics and quilt making to create unique cards that help people deliver their special messages. I’ve heard many times that people love receiving them so much they put their card in a frame! Each one is a unique piece of art.
